Season 3 of the well-known Japanese anime Food Wars is already available in Japan since 2017. The director of the anime TV series is Yoshitomo Yonetani, a popular Japanese animator, and J.C Staff is the producer. The first part of the anime ran from 4th October to 20th December 2017. Later, the second part aired from 9th April to 25th June 2018. Popular Japanese broadcasting channels such as Tokyo MX, Animax, BS11, Abema TV have already broadcasted the third season and received positive audience feedback.

Yes, the anime has been released only in Japanese, and there is no dubbed version available of this series. The central story of Food Wars:
The story of Foods Wars revolves around the cooking adventure of Soma Yukihira, who wants to outshine his father’s cooking genius. His father used to run their family restaurant named “Restaurant Yukihira”. But, due to job necessities, he had to close the restaurant. But Soma had a strong desire to be a good cook and reopen their family restaurant.
Understanding this, his father admitted him into the Totsuki Saryo Culinary Institute. It is a Tokyo based famous cooking institute ran by Gin Dojima. Candidates need to pass the entrance examination to be a student here. The big campus of Totsuki Saryo consists of culinary classrooms, research facilities, competitor rooms, etc.
Soma got admitted into the Polaris Dormitory and there he met with other aspiring learners like Megumi Tadokoro. In this culinary institute, students regularly engage in food competitions to hone their culinary skills. Thus, the whole story of the anime is all about the cooking challenges and interactions of Soma Yukihira.
Expected release of the English dubbed version of Food Wars Season 3:
In the middle of 2019, Sentai Filmworks proclaimed that they obtained the home video rights of Food Wars. They also stated that Food Wars season 3 English dub will come in the first half of 2020. But things changed after the Coronavirus pandemic. This also delayed the release of the dubbed version of Food Wars season 3. However, the world is currently coming back in form and things are getting normal. So, fans can expect the release of Food Wars season 3 English dub anytime in 2021.
